Dr Alistair Lewis

Dr Alistair Lewis is a successful entrepreneur and highly experienced Doctor with over 40 years’ experience specialising in Medicine. For the past 10 years Alistair has been involved in management of mining and exploration companies.
In 2017 Alistair established Oosen Lewis mining Pty Ltd in North Queensland. Alistair financed the aggregation of a substantial portfolio of gold, tin, tungsten and antimony assets and instigated subsequent extensive exploration programs. These assets now form part of the QSM portfolio.
Alistair possesses strong interpersonal communication skills owing to his extensive experience working in healthcare as well as more recent interaction with investors and brings with him an extensive network of investors.
Dr Stephen Bartrop

Education: PhD, BSc(Hons), Grad. Dip. Securities Instit. MAusIMM, F Fin, MSEG, GAICD.
Steve’s professional experience spans more than 30 years covering periods in both the mining industry and financial sector. With a geology background, Steve has worked in exploration, feasibility and evaluation studies and mining in a range of commodities and in different parts of the world. In the financial sector, Steve has been involved in research, corporate transactions and IPOs spanning a period of more than 20 years, including senior roles at JPMorgan, Bankers Trust and Macquarie Equities.
Steve is also a director of Southwest Pacific Bauxite (HK) Ltd, a company developing a bauxite project in the Solomon Islands and Chairman of Breakaway Research Pty Ltd.
Michael Thirbeck
Non-Executive Director
Mr. Thirnbeck is an experienced geologist with over 25 years in managing numerous mineral development projects in Papua New Guinea, Indonesia and Australia. He has been a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy since 1989 and holds B.Sc (Hons.) degree from University of Queensland.
Kiara Wang
Non-Executive Director
Ms Wang serves as a Non-Executive Director of Tartana Minerals Ltd and contributes legal, governance and cross-border transactional expertise to the Board. Alongside her board responsibilities, Ms Wang works within the cross-border mergers and acquisitions (mining and energy) practice at King & Wood Mallesons, supporting multi-jurisdictional transactions across Australia, Europe and Asia, including legal research, due diligence review, transaction documentation and client advisory matters. At Tartana, she participates in board governance and strategic commercial discussions, has assisted in merger and joint venture negotiations in compliance with ASX regulatory requirements. She also plays an active role in strengthening the Company’s engagement with Chinese markets, assisting in identifying and sourcing strategic opportunities, facilitating introductions and discussions with major Chinese state-owned enterprises regarding potential collaboration, and supporting cross-border commercial positioning. Her broader professional experience spans commercial, property and commercial dispute matters across Australia and China, providing comparative insight into both common law and civil law regulatory systems, with particular interests in mining investment, infrastructure development and international energy markets.
