Mining Lease Applications

Riverside Energy (QLD) Pty Ltd (Riverside), a wholly owned subsidiary of Tartana Minerals Limited, has applied for two new mining leases and one exploration permit covering the Cardross copper project and the Mountain Maid gold project, both approximately 35 km west of the Tartana copper project leases and west of the main Palmerville Fault.

Cardross is a copper/gold prospect along a geological structure call the Cardross shear and which is covered by extensive historic workings. Mountain Maid represents an intrusion related gold system which has no historical records. The mining lease applications are within EPM 27735 which includes other prospective areas which have alteration zones but have been subjected to minimal exploration in the past.
